Relax Your Body and Mind with These Stretching Routines
Life can get hectic, and stress can build up in our bodies and minds. Taking a few minutes each day to stretch can help release tension, improve flexibility, and promote relaxation. Here are some simple stretch routines that can help you unwind and rejuvenate.
1. Full-Body Stretch
Start by standing tall with your feet hip-width apart. Reach your arms up towards the ceiling, lengthening your spine. Slowly bend to one side, then the other, to stretch your sides. Bend forward at the waist to stretch your back and hamstrings. Hold each stretch for 15-30 seconds and repeat as needed.

2. Neck and Shoulder Release
Sit or stand comfortably. Drop your right ear towards your right shoulder and hold for 15 seconds, then switch sides. Roll your shoulders back and down to open up your chest. Interlace your fingers behind your back and straighten your arms to stretch your shoulders. Breathe deeply as you release tension in your neck and shoulders.

3. Seated Spinal Twist
Sit on the floor with your legs extended. Bend your right knee and place your right foot outside your left thigh. Twist your torso to the right, placing your left elbow on the outside of your right knee. Hold the twist for 15-30 seconds, then switch sides. This stretch helps release tension in the spine and improve flexibility.

4. Child's Pose
Start on your hands and knees, then sit back on your heels while reaching your arms forward. Rest your forehead on the floor and breathe deeply. This gentle stretch relaxes the back, shoulders, and neck while calming the mind. Hold the pose for as long as feels comfortable.
